THE WORLD OF MUSIC

In this lively interactive program, Tim Gregory and Tracey Eldridge will lead an exploration the vital role that music plays in a variety of cultures from six different continents.  Participants will also experience unique ethnic instruments including: steel drum (Trinidad), didjeridoo (Australia), bamboo angklung (Southeast Asia), thumb piano (Sub-Saharan Africa) and the Native American flute, plus many others.  This assembly offers a wonderful foundation for cross-curricular learning and celebrates diversity.

Nada Brahma offers a program that inspires children’s mind and their bodies and hearts. In the three schools where I teach, I have heard more positive comments about The World of Music than any other assembly program.”
